The Emissary plot

During a trip to South Africa, Caroline Cavanaugh is blackmailed by the KGB to extract classified information from her husband Jack, a special envoy from the US. She discovers that she has been followed for eight years by the KGB, who have secretly photographed her several times with Russian agents. She enlists the help of her brother, who doubts her innocence.
