Terminal Error plot

A nuclear power plant explodes. An elevator crashes. This is just the beginning of a wave of destruction that can only be stopped by Brad (Michael Nouri), the owner of AutoCom, the world's largest software company, and his son Dylan (Mattew Ewald). The embittered former partner of the influential computer company Elliot (Timothy Busfield) creates an extraordinarily intelligent computer virus in revenge. In order to gain access to AutoCom's computer system, he develops a friendship with Dylan. When Dylan tries to please his father by uploading the MP3, the MP3 turns out to be Elliot's virus, which immediately takes hold by spreading lightning through the city's servers. Terrible accidents are the result. Brad, Dylan and his mother Alex (Marina Sirits) desperately try to stop the virus, and when they find out Elliot is the culprit, it's too late to stop him. Unfortunately, the virus also turns out to be even stronger and more intelligent than people thought and goes its own way. Brad, Dylan and Alex must figure out a way to stop this virtual but realistic mortal enemy before it's too late.

Another cheap sci-fi thriller from the US. Very quickly (with all those explosions and firestorms) you realize how fake and computer-generated it is. The actors themselves don't do much either. A rather meager story that you can easily skip.
