Dirk Longstreet (Oliver Gruner) is a university professor. He leads a normal life and tries to get the best out of his students. No one can suspect that five years ago this same person was actually Dirk Lincoln, the Eastern Soabord Fight World Champion (the most extreme variant of Freefight). The illegal fights that are held are better known as: The Circuit. But after years of being at the top of this sport, he decided to say goodbye to that world and opt for a normal life. When one of his students gets into trouble by also fighting in "The Circuit", Dirk can do two things: leave the student to his fate, or save him from the same mistakes he made in his previous life. Dirk gradually becomes involved again in the life that he seemed to have left behind for good. He again meets many of his old enemies in the ring who still want to fight the necessary old feuds with him. Will he rise to the top again in this harsh world of illegal combat. And at what cost?
