Prometey plot

Ukrainian landowner Svicka is in love with Katerina, the bride of his serf Ivas. He sells Ivas to the army. In the Caucasus, Ivas fights against the Chechens and is captured. Gavrilov, a revolutionary, opens his eyes and shows him the dark side of the Tsar Empire, after which Ivas fights with the Chechens. The Russians are led by Svicka.
