A kind of documentary about the place that humans take (by force) in nature. It is a ruthless struggle for survival where much is taken and little is given. Animals are domesticated and when that is not possible, they are hunted, such as the leopard and the tiger.
You get an insight into their hunting habits, how they set up traps to catch wild animals. Occasionally the wrong animal is caught, such as a Chang, but this is not without consequences. Quite spectacular images at the end, just like the act of revenge by both animals and humans.
At that time, we are talking about 1927-1928, nominated for the primitive Oscars. Beautiful, fascinating, but also viewed with a sour feeling.
