Night of the Fox plot

"It would be the greatest performance of their lives, or their last..."

During a secret invasion exercise, American Colonel Kelso falls into the sea. Wounded and exhausted, he washes up on the coast of the British Channel Island of Jersey, which is occupied by the Germans. The Allies panic because Kelso knows all the details of D-Day. He must be saved. Or be silenced. Colonel Harry Martineau, aka Max Vogel, an embittered American of German descent, is tasked with taking Kelso off the island. Disguised as an assistant to German General Himmler, he arrives in Jersey, where the case takes a surprising turn.
