L'Ennui plot
"An Obsession Out of Control"
Martin, a high school philosophy professor, has been in utter professional and personal depression since his wife dumped him six months ago. Under strange circumstances he meets a strange couple: a sixty-year-old painter and a sixteen-year-old girl. Out of curiosity, he goes to the studio and there he hears that the painter has just - in the act! - is deceased. Attracted by her mysterious purity and disinterested attitude to life, he begins a relationship that remains purely physical. When he notices that she also has a younger lover, the stoppages blow again.
