Ich, der King of Porn - Das Abenteuerliche Leben des Lasse Braun plot
Lasse Braun was one of the most successful and influential filmmakers in the European porn industry. It started for the Italian diplomat's son - who was actually called Alberto - in the late 1950s with the illegal import and distribution of sex magazines. Later he started making super 8 films himself, which were distributed via this same distribution network. In connection with the more flexible legislation, he first settled in Denmark and then in Breda, the Netherlands. Braun's films, unlike most films made later, were carefully crafted and always had an original story. In this film portrait, larded with many film fragments, Braun's business partner and some of his actresses talk about the pioneering years of the sex industry. It was an exciting time, when for most employees the pleasure of work predominated. It was believed that porn movies made a significant contribution to the sexual revolution and meant the liberation from narrow 50s morality.
