Hans and Rietje are old and are in a retirement home. While remembering and looking back, they relive certain episodes from their lives. Hans was a truck driver on the foreign routes. As a result, Rietje was often alone. Hans behaved exemplary sexually when he was away from home. Straw, actually, but she was repeatedly exposed to all kinds of advances, especially when she takes a job as a chambermaid in a hotel to pass the time. In that capacity she also meets film producer Pim, who offers her a role in his new film 'Dirty picture'. Although nothing is wrong, Hans starts worrying about that Pim-Rietje relationship, with the result that at a certain point he drinks too much and causes a collision. The judge sentences Hans to five months in prison. Rietje feels humiliated by the course of events during that lawsuit and takes revenge at the instigation of her sour man-hating mother.
