"The cannabalistic crazies with a deadly appetite for life!"
The Pittsburgh area is startled by a killer who helps his victims around the corner with a chainsaw. Agents Birdwell and Blocker are tasked with finding the killer, but the case doesn't really take off until the Chief Inspector's pretty young daughter steps in. The two officers begin to suspect that the girl has something to do with the murders.

It won't surprise anyone, with a title like this; but this is indeed not a very good film. Certainly not the worst either, mind you. But it is an unashamed B-movie, a horror film with a crazy concept, besides the horror also a lot of (not so successful attempts at) humor, and the cast is mediocre. But still that doesn't bother you that much, somehow you don't expect too much from a film and genre like this; and then a failed porn actress in the lead role is also sufficient. And in the end it is acceptable to watch, despite the fact that not that much exciting happens it doesn't collapse too much either. Apparently Tom Savini also worked on the effects here, but to be honest I didn't notice much of that, except in a scene at the end when that guy pulls his own face off. Furthermore, the gore is not very explicit and not very convincing, but for a cheap film it is doable. If you can appreciate a bit of mediocre cult horror and you're bored, then this is okay, but otherwise I wouldn't go out of my way to track this film down.

I saw this title pass by in the horror film challenge and of course it appealed immediately. And the lover of nonsensical horror comedy cult will get his money's worth here! There will undoubtedly be a low budget but the production value of this film is amazing. The camera work and the acting performances are also a lot better than you would expect from such a production.
But what really makes this film worth it and rises above similar films in my opinion are the characters. Each character has its own bizarre traits, which makes the film very funny. The smartest police officer is a woman, but because the other officers are misogynists (and stupid), this results in funny scenes. Without explicitly rubbing your nose in a feminist message. The woman has to fart constantly, hiccup and in this way feminists and misogyny are dealt with at the same time. Neat.
Then you have a fat chef, a chain-smoking woman, the whole film is a series of crazy characters who do, say and experience strange things. Of course the story is stupid and the tension is hard to find. What others have said here is also true. There is not a lot of gore. But as far as I'm concerned a neat 3.5/5
