A man (Dirck van Dijk) with suicide plans spends his last day in a typical Dutch pub, where he says goodbye to the regular guests. He has a farewell present for everyone. The story takes place within 24 hours and in one place: the expired Café Centraal on a station square that functions as a gathering place for people who mainly see life passing by.
