"The man. The legend. His story. His words."

Biographical film about the turbulent life of the English footballer Paul Gascoigne. This film digs deeper into his character, vulnerabilities, fears and his victories. Twenty-five years ago, the whole of England closed his heart to him when he received a yellow card in the semi-final of the 1990 World Cup against Germany that cost him the eventual final. In the film, 'Gazza' reveals how he had prepared for that important game, the England national team's most exciting game since the 1966 World Cup final. After his rock-solid period came the decline. Gascoigne, who once showed up in a Santa costume during a meeting with Sepp Blatter, was even hospitalized twice.
