Rose against the Odds plot

Lionel Rose grew up in a poor Aboriginal community in the Australian outback. When he received a pair of boxing gloves as a gift and began boxing, he discovered his talent. His star rose in the boxing world, leading to a fight for the bantamweight title against Japanese world champion "Fighting" Harada.
