Treat Her like a Lady plot
When single mother Sandra is evicted by government agencies due to fraud, she sells the emergency hotel accommodation as a vacation home to her daughters, Harrie and Stella. Caring for her children while also being the full-time breadwinner seems impossible. But Sandra refuses to be defeated: with heroic strength and creativity, she gives her daughters the summer of their lives.

A beautiful, well-produced film with excellent acting. My problem with this film lies more in the events themselves. Several statements are made: that poverty exists and the system often works against it, that status holders *do* receive housing, and that Pride is an event where people already in a terrible situation have to give up their rooms to partying queers. In my opinion, alongside an important statement, the film also deliberately makes a few nasty and unjustified statements.
