A reasonably strong drama. The story is well put together but somewhat predictable. The execution is quite successful. As a viewer, you are drawn into the story effectively because societal themes are touched upon. Caswill manages to strike a fine balance between romance and drama, ensuring it never becomes too heavy but also not too lighthearted. Monroe delivers a fine performance; however, the chemistry with Withers is not very strong. Visually, the film excels in picturesque locations and polished set design. 3.5/4.0
