Watch the film as if you have never seen this type of film before, and what remains is a strong film that was actually quite beautiful. Some parts could have been developed a bit deeper, but perhaps the film would have been too long then.
The film has something beautiful, something that makes it worth watching. I just can't quite put into words exactly what.

Archetypal Texan blonde Caroline [Samara Weaving] seizes the chance for an adventurous life by joining forces with con artist Oliver [Kyle Gallner] and learning the tricks of his trade herself. They earn enough to survive, but for Caroline, it leaves her wanting more. And so the duo decides to turn to bank robberies. Until Caroline finally realizes the consequences of her actions. Weaving and Gallner do a decent job in their caricatured, underdeveloped roles, but Kyra Sedgwick goes over the top as Caroline's alcoholic, uncompromising mother. A weak take on Bonnie & Clyde with a bizarre ending and a questionable moral.
