Composer and pianist Erik Satie, father of minimalist music, died exactly 100 years ago. He is one of the world's most performed and interpreted composers. His music continues to have a profound influence on modern music and on young international artists. The documentary tells the life of Satie along a biographical and musicological line, using his own texts, full of humor and interpretations, but also through testimonies of his prestigious fellow travelers such as Debussy, Ravel, Picasso and Tzara.
