Minnie Moore, a well-born museum curator, has gone through a failed marriage and an unhappy relationship with a married man. Just as she threatens to lose all faith in love, she meets Seymour Moskowitz, an uncivilized hippie who earns his living as a parking attendant. Despite their opposing characters, they begin a fascinating relationship.
