A dead woman is found on the Atlantic coast of Spain. The clues lead Chief Commissioner Acosta, who has just been transferred from Valencia to Galicia, to the mysterious pilgrim Calmero. The man has more on his conscience than Acosta suspects. The commissioner soon uncovers a dark web of intrigue.
