Seen on Netflix. French film about the criminal drug circuit in Marseille. Film opens with an MMA fight where Bastien accidentally kills his opponent Enzo. Enzo's wife and son were also present. Bastien expresses his regret at the grave, stops fighting and starts living as a hermit. Fast forward 2 years later. The widow woman seeks out the fighter because her son is missing. After her husband's death, she lost control of her son and he started dealing. Bastien decides to help her and during his search comes into contact with agent Kenza. Kenza is also looking for the son because he is an informant of hers. She suspects that the Manchours are behind this, with whom she has had a feud for years because they had set her brother on fire years earlier. The son in turn is wanted by the Manchours because he witnessed a murder. After an outburst, Kenza is suspended from the office. She now has nothing left to lose and teams up with Bastien to catch those responsible at all costs.

Reasonable film in this genre with the highlight being the scene in the discotheque “Pop Club” with those bouncers, cool piece.

Surprisingly fun and stylishly directed action film, with a great lead role for mixed martial arts fighter Cyril Gane. Hopefully we will see more of him. The plot is very standard, especially in the beginning of the film, but gradually the script and characters become more interesting. The clumsy action scenes are also very good, with a lot of attention to cool details. In fact, the film is too short for me; I would have liked to have had another half hour. The coolest surprise is saved for last, when John Carpenter's Vortex is used during the credits.

Crazy action film in which a number of musclemen beat each other's brains out with glass bottles, hails of bullets and bare fists. Director Antoine Blossier shows that he has a good feeling when it comes to direct fighting and thus creates a number of decent explosions of violence, but the story that is brewed around it comes across as far too serious and predictable. Even within a short running time of 90 minutes, it seems to take forever before the essence is revealed and as a viewer you only have two action-packed moments to be happy about. All in all, KO fits perfectly in the street of half-heartedly developed Netflix films for a few quick clicks.
