A better sequel to the mediocre first installment. Director Taweewat Wantha is clearly less bound to the source material for this sequel, allowing him to venture into broader territory. For instance, Death Whisperer 2 features scenes in the jungle and outside the farm. It adds little to the existing legend, but it delivers plenty of adventurous spectacle moments. Moreover, the acting is somewhat better now that most cast members don't have to worry as much about sentimental facial expressions. Still, the ultimate threat doesn't make for an intimidating entrance, and Wantha leaves too little to your imagination (so everything is shown in full view), but it is entertaining enough and is even slightly shorter.
