"Making history in fifteen hours on open sea."
Sally Bauer has had a passion for competitive swimming since her teenage years. She then focused on long-distance swimming. In 1939, however, Sally is having a hard time. Financial backers for her top sport remain scarce and as a single mother she faces obstacles. Nevertheless, she has her next goal in mind: swimming the Channel. The treacherous and cold waters are a great challenge as well as the urgency due to the war that is spreading through the European continent.
