Joon-seok, a successful author, and Deok-hee, an art teacher, have been happily married for three years. Their life together is going well until Deok-hee suffers from memory loss due to a car accident. With the ever-friendly Joon-seok by her side, Deok-hee's situation seems to improve with time. When Joon-seok leaves to work on a new book, he suddenly dies. Overwhelmed with grief, Deok-hee heads to the same place and as she follows his journey, she is confronted with an unexpected truth.

I often have trouble understanding what Asian films are about, and Korean ones are a completely different beast in that respect. Somehow the emotions don't come through, and that's also an issue with this film. On the surface I understand the story, but not how the characters do their thing in it, what makes them do what they do and what they feel about it. It's difficult to say anything about whether they are played well, or to have an opinion about the film. In any case, it all looks beautifully cared for.
