Well this is a typical women's film and by that I mean a film made by a woman. So it has the familiar themes and lacks tension and speed. I often notice that women in this genre still have something to learn. Often it is a drama/comedy/coming disguised as a genre film. That is also the case here.
Still, I find kryptic an intriguing film, which is indeed very cryptic. It is somewhat reminiscent of Lynch in the sense that on a subconscious level it speaks a language with many symbols that, given the numbers, people can no longer understand.
I still enjoyed myself and it's also just a wonderful, strange journey of discovery that you can enjoy if you're willing to view the film interdimensionally.
