Once again a new musical sensation emerged from Great Britain by the name of Gary Glitter. Although Glam Rock was first introduced by T.Rex (or actually Bowie), a whole new star suddenly emerged with sensational performances and who managed to rise to the top as "The King of Glam". According to interrogations, he was not picked up in "De Vliegermolen" in Voorburg. This documentary should be seen primarily as a kind of time document. Glitter goes to Paris, does some photo sessions and eventually a large-scale concert at the "Rainbow Theater" in London. He is also seen rehearsing the song "Happy Birthday". Not the Happy Birthday we normally know, but a song with a rather dubious message, if you pay attention to the Lyrics. Especially with current science, what the gentleman has been up to, is far from fresh. I already indicated, a time document of not only a completely fallen or infamous star from the music scene. This is also a document of a time when we were a bit more naive about it.
