Hidaruma Kaita Yo plot

The Japanese painter, novelist and poet Murayama Kaita left behind an impressive and timeless oeuvre when he died in 1919 at the age of 22. This film is a surreal, layered essay about the artist, his originality and his legacy, beyond the boundaries of time. “Dear Kaita Ablaze” features the young woman Azami, who is obsessed with Murayama's painting, Saku, a young man who can hear unusual frequencies and claims he is Murayama or his spiritual image, and four young clairvoyant actors. They find each other in Murayama's work, which they bring to life with a dance performance on the way to the Agartha cave.
