Explorer: Lake of Fire plot

In 2001, NASA satellite images recorded a mysterious thermal anomaly in the South Atlantic Ocean. A team of researchers is now trying to reach the top of the remote, never-explored volcano to gain knowledge about how volcanoes work. A harsh journey follows under extreme conditions.

Interesting, spectacularly filmed short documentary by National Geographic about an expedition to a mysterious volcano in the South Atlantic Ocean. A team of researchers tries to reach the top of the extremely remote, never explored volcano. The many setbacks and the harsh conditions make for a fascinating spectacle.
