Badamasi (Portrait of a General) plot

Badamasi tells the story of Babangida from growing up in the village of Wushishi in Northern Nigeria to joining the army and his time as Nigeria's military head of state. It also portrays important events in Babangida's life, including the period of the Nigerian Civil War when Babangida is injured in an attempt to save a colleague. The subsequent military coups and the cancellation of the June 1993 presidential elections are also portrayed.
