Explorer: Lost in the Arctic plot

Sir John Franklin set sail from England in 1845 with two ships and 129 crew members to be the first to navigate the Northwest Passage, a new trade route across the far north of the world. Unfortunately, Franklin's ships disappeared without a trace. Now a team of explorers is trying to solve the mystery surrounding Franklin's ships by retracing his route and searching for his long-hidden grave.

An inconsistent short documentary by National Geographic about an expedition to the North Pole to find the grave of Sir John Franklin. Franklin left England in 1845 with two ships (the Terror and the Erebus) to be the first to navigate the Northwest Passage, a new trade route across the far north of the world. The premise of the documentary is unfortunately more interesting than the rushed and disappointing outcome, but the material is nevertheless interesting enough.
