Why has this film had no reviews, hours after the first screening of Jean du Berry many many reviews had been posted online from most mainstream media outlets, newspapers, newsletters etc.

Most unfavorable, The Guardian and Independent (uk newspapers and both left leaning), however praised both film and Johnny Depp's performance, seems they actually can separate art from their very longstanding dislike of the afore named actor.

So why no In The Fire reviews at all, anyway. The

movie screened last night at The Taorimina Film Festival at 23.00 hours and news is only about Amber Heard's late arrival, Amber Heard's Q & A, Amber Heard's comments that the message of the film is of love (no comment, add your all thoughts as reaction to Miss Heard's synopsis if you wish).

Actual unbiased critique of this picture and lead actor s performance would be nice.

I've literally tried to look at the reviews for this movie and Imdb has got it down in the Red be 4k even though there's no reviews and no option for it to be reviewed or even scored voted on which I have never seen on there before. Ridiculoue

Those rankings are based on interest and it's red to show that it has recently dropped in the rankings. Next to it, you see 192, which is the number of spots it has dropped, this week.

Also, there is a review up from a film critic (not on IMDb) that attended the festival and it's premiere, and the review wasn't glowing.

All that to say that this isn't likely to be a movie that sees a theater release (likely what they are currently shopping around for), and instead will end up released straight to streaming/dvd. At its peak of interest on IMDb, it was in the hundreds and most of the traffic wasn't due to interest in the movie, but instead due to the controversy surrounding the lead. That interest has died as they've all move on to the next scandal or story.
