The Day after Halloween plot
Friends Addison and Hayes prepare for a Halloween party. First they go to see a special selection of movies in the drive-in movie theater that Addison runs and then they go to a party like every year. This time things are different: when the boys wake up, they find a corpse in their bathtub. Not only does it appear to be a crime, the victim is Addison's ex-girlfriend, who he had a fight with the night before. Both boys were dead drunk and have no idea what happened. To find out, they decide to reenact last night together.

Lame comedy film with some scary concepts towards the end, which actually have little influence on the outcome. Director Chad Ostrom uses two very annoying main characters to blow his story forward and since these are not the most sympathetic or interesting figures, The Day after Halloween quickly becomes a task. Towards the end, the content gains some strength through the playing with chronological order and timelines, but the final approach is rather cheap and easily found. There is also no question of a certain Halloween atmosphere and only the convincing and professional acting of the cast members can be positively mentioned.
