This was on TV this week. Very good all and sadly little about the history of this "genre." For example, the term minimal music is touched upon only once. The documentary is like the music it is about: safe, soothing, thoughtless floating aimlessly over the surface. So there is little useful to say about it, and why this had to be talked together in German also remains an unsolved mystery.
