Vincent is chased by strangers from one day to the next. Whenever he makes eye contact with someone, they get murderous intent and he literally has to run for his life. Initially, Vincent tries to continue his daily activities until things get out of hand. Vincent is forced to flee and completely change course.

Vincent [Karim Leklou] is attacked twice at work in a short period of time. First the new intern Hugo [Ulysse Genevrey] attacks him with a laptop, not much later his gentle colleague Yves [Emmanuel Vérité] does the same with a knife. His boss [Jean-Remi Chaize] takes no formal action against the perpetrators, but advises Vincent to work from home. Vincent soon realizes that people become aggressive when he makes eye contact and suspects that he is the victim of a virus. A chance meeting with Joachim [Michaël Perez] provides a clue that makes Vincent realize that he will have to completely change his life. But how can he survive without making eye contact with other people? Leklou is perfect when the common man has to get out of a sticky situation and the first half is comical, exciting and interesting. The romantic subplot surrounding restaurant employee Margaux [Vimala Pons] throws a spanner in the works, especially because screenwriter Mathieu Naert cannot reconcile the blossoming romance with everything that has gone before. Still, there are plenty of strong moments, including a confrontation in a supermarket parking lot and a traffic jam on a highway, which may have been inspired by Weekend by Jean-Luc Godard.

Nice premise indeed where a man is randomly attacked by those around him. The reason is unknown, but he soon discovers that he is not alone. The film merely shows and therefore does not look for explanations.
Excellent casting by the way with Karim Leklou. That stunned, desperate look of his captured the confusingly absurd context perfectly. Decent film with a number of strong moments, although I had the feeling that it was not always consistent.
The romance was indeed completely unnecessary and doesn't match the rest of the film. For me, the hunted game and the pariah feeling could be emphasized even more.

Original fun concept that is especially interesting to follow during the first hour. Afterwards the story slackens because the director perhaps pays a little too much attention to the romance and is much less open to even more rough action scenes. The film could also have been a little shorter in terms of duration. It is also a pity that as a viewer you do not get an explanation for that sudden aggression of the people. Where does it come from? Is it a kind of virus? It is also very remarkable that this aggression is not carried out consistently (think of the romance). 6/10
