Ukraine: The People's Fight plot

Mykolaiv is a besieged city in the south of Ukraine. It is the last obstacle for the Russians along the southern coast of Ukraine and therefore of enormous importance in the defense of the European border. The Russians are only 40 kilometers away in Kherson. For two months, filmmaker Olly Lambert lived in Mykolaiv and followed a special unit on the frontline in Kherson. The documentary follows the trenches and outposts of the Ukrainian army, just before it prepares for a long-awaited counter-offensive.
