Jorge Villafañez is a portly, seasoned private investigator who lives alone in a flat in Buenos Aires. He is discreet and meticulous and always knows how to get people talking. But when a new job puts him on the trail of Elvira, an experimental choreographer, the distance between the observer and the observed disappears as Jorge descends into the rising waters of the Delta del Río de la Plata.
