Polder plot
After the death of his wife, pig farmer Ronald is responsible for the care of their daughter and the farm. The increasingly stringent environmental requirements hang like a millstone around his neck. When, to make matters worse, animal activist Erik, who knows nothing about Ronald's situation, starts an increasingly strong hate campaign against him, Ronald is distraught.

The idea was strong and, just like with Onder water and De Revelation, very topical. I love that. But the effect is just too Dutch again. I mean: without balls.
We have a Ronald. A pig farmer who is struggling with the death of his wife and now has to take care of his daughter alone. Then we have such an ultra-left shark bay Erik, who is completely blind to all forms of snapshots where he can express his acidity again by starting hate campaigns. In this case, Erik is the next target, as he would hurt pigs; apart from that, keeping them in the stables is already a no-go.
It is interesting that the film does focus on both the lives of Erik and Ronald. Ronald who tries to make something of it with his daughter and allows himself to take place in his daily routine. And Erik, a young man screaming with testosterone but struggling with an inferiority complex. Perhaps by his contemptuous father? Well, it's hard to point someone out.
But it could and could have been stronger. Now it's all very on autopilot and very soapy.
Although the attempt was good and the ending was also well done.
