A murder is committed in a remote country house in North Friesland. Lena kills her husband Ulrich, seemingly without motive. She removes all traces of the crime. When her brother-in-law Max comes to visit, he becomes intrigued by his sister-in-law's mysterious behavior. A passionate relationship develops between the two.
