The Proof of the Pudding plot

On the eve of the restoration and transformation of Herman Hertzberger's Centraal Beheer complex in Apeldoorn, filmmaker Patrick Minks portrays Hertzberger to investigate with him the social and architectural value of and future plans for the structuralist building. The film's title is taken from Hertzberger's claim that the transformation will be "the proof of the pudding." A successful transformation will finally reveal the added value of what Hertzberger considers to be the core principle of structuralism: adaptability.
