Eerlijk Gestolen plot
11-year-old Nola does her best to save money so that her grandmother can travel to Suriname to scatter her late grandfather's ashes, but plane tickets are expensive and saving takes a long time. When Nola finds a bag of stolen money, she leaves her good upbringing for what it is and decides to keep the loot. After all, it's for a good cause. But is that such a wise choice?

Eleven-year-old Nola [Alicia Mendes] accidentally discovers (which this film is full of) where the loot from a bank robbery is hidden in the village, when a banknote falls from a tree into her hands! With the help of her best friend [Jikke ter Laak], Nola manages to get the loot from the tree and hides it in the shed of her Granma [Gerda Havertong]. Nola wants to use the money to pay for a flight to Suriname, so that Granma can scatter the ashes of her recently deceased husband there. Written by experienced experts Burny and Tamara Bos, who apparently believe that children cannot see through all the implausibilities. I fear that they underestimate children a bit. The lack of chemistry between Mendes and Ter Laak is another major negative.
