An interesting film about a woman who withdraws into monastic life and wants to devote her life to God. However, her peaceful life is disrupted by her derailed - Mother Superior calls it 'doomed' - brother who suddenly shows up and turns the monastery into chaos.

You feel that something is not right and that both harbor a secret that consumes one and represses the other. Alma realizes that she will have to face her past before she can move on.

Pretty good acting from Kristine Thorp who plays her role convincingly. The ending is perhaps a bit too fast and easy. As if the ending had to happen quickly. Also an entertaining subplot with the demented sister.

This drama is certainly not bad, not that much happens, but there is always a slight tension.

It is mainly because of Thorp that I give this score, he does a fantastic job.

Not spectacular, just a nice piece of work....
