"There is hope in every homecoming."
Interior designer Hayley wants to give her mother Patricia a personal gift. She inadvertently learns that there is a relative that her mother has not seen since childhood: her brother, Hayley's uncle. Outside Denver, she searches and suspects a man named Gordon to be her mother's brother. He owns a cabin building company. The town where Hayley finds him is beautiful and quite Christmassy. However, upon learning of the circumstances surrounding the sibling's divorce, Hayley begins to change her mind. Will she still get her family together for Christmas?
