Achrome plot

During the Nazi occupation of the Baltic States, the naive Maris enlisted in the Wehrmacht, together with his brother and some fellow villagers. The barracks are in a monastery and Maris, considered a fool by the others, seems to see his fate as a religious vocation. Until his eyes are opened to the misbehavior of the soldiers around him, and he takes it upon himself to save a young woman.
