Jim is a truck driver and Bee a cashier in a supermarket. After their son is diagnosed with advanced cancer, they struggle to brave the mountain of medical bills. In their greatest need, they must raise $250,000 to afford treatment. In this emotional and financial crisis, Jim finally decides to smuggle drugs across the US-Mexico border.
