"Not Exactly A Relaxing Day Fishing"
The dog Spike guards a fishing pond where fishing is prohibited, although he has fallen asleep. Tom ignores the warnings and goes fishing. He uses Jerry as bait. However, a mean fish throws a spanner in the works when Spike is woken up.

The well-known trio from the series, because Spike is participating again. This time Tom goes fishing and we not only get a battle for the fish but also between Tom and Spike of course. The opening animation is very nicely done, details that you do not easily encounter in later short animations. At least not with that warmth and charm. A nice movie, although not their best.
