Bhuj: The Pride of India plot
"The greatest battle ever fought"
The year 1971, the beginning of the Indo-Pakistani War. In India, the airstrip of the military base in Bhuj is destroyed by enemy aircraft. This cuts off the supply of reinforcements from mainland India. A small group of soldiers must therefore defend the base against the surprise of the Pakistani armed forces. Meanwhile, 300 local women, led by Commander Vijay Karnik, are rebuilding the runway under enemy fire.
