The Sound of Scars plot

The story of three friends who overcame domestic violence, substance abuse and depression to form "Life of Agony", one of the most influential bands in the metal genre, led by the first-ever openly transgender singer. With their 1993 debut album, River Runs Red, combining their shared life stories, they managed to create the soundtrack for a broken generation. The success allowed them to move beyond their tragic past, but new obstacles arose.
