Rheingold plot
Giwar Hajabi is a rapper better known as Xatar. He is one of the big names in the German rap scene. In 2009 he becomes involved in a robbery on a gold transport after which he ends up in jail. When he is released, he founds several record companies and takes young artists under his wing.

Very entertaining, 'true story' crime film about Giwar Hajabi, a German rapper who gets involved in a robbery of a gold transport in 2009. Colorful characters and crazy situations follow each other in quick succession, entertainingly portrayed by director Fatih Akin. The film is a bit too long and towards the end it runs out of steam a bit, but a positive feeling definitely prevails. And Emilio Sakraya is excellent in the leading role.
