The Gesture and the Word plot
Gilbert is a lonely postman. He secretly makes postcards for Aurore, when her friend's homemade postcards fail to arrive from his travels around the world. He gets help from his friend Mr. Rostalle, a blind widower and retired literary professor and poet. This one teaches Gilbert to open up to love, and as he tries to make Gilbert happy, he also discovers his own happiness.
