Dan MacDowell is a 65 year old police officer. Due to his age, he has to retire, but he has difficulty accepting it. His son Jack is an aviation officer. Recently, the O'Day Jewelry Company has been ravaged by a series of jewelry robberies. Police find evidence of corruption within the company's staff. They deploy their latest weapon, a plane, to round up the gang.
