"Deception at every turn…"

A former professional runner with a heart condition and his wife stumble upon a corpse and a strange boy in the wilderness. The man runs to the nearest town to alert the authorities. His wife stays behind and keeps the boy company. However, it keeps getting weirder. Meanwhile, two escaped convicts are heading their way.
